I am allowed to help on a few missions for Steve..
He sent a great mission and ideas to me to work on, for some L-5 missions..
I am surprised to say after working on this..
I am impressed that the L-5 did very well in the set up I have developed from Steve's great work..

It is fun to battle in a L-5 for ones' life, and achive the mission goals..
This is Fun..
Thanks Steve for the Great mission set up and allowing a hobbit
to trash a few L-5's in the process of doing this..

Thanks for your help Owen, the project is large and very detailed with many new weapons and facilities.

I think the players will enjoy the surprises we have in store for them and all the new stuff. The pack should include around 12 to 14 missions in total starting with Monte Cassino, carrier launch at Anzio with beach landings, Operation Dragoon, then the March thru France and finally a couple of missions in Germany. I wonder if anyone will be able to make the trip in one aircraft and survive like the real pilot Captain Shultz did in Janey.

I've tested the 2 first missions, they are very immersive with a lot of action on the ground and in the air. It's a different experience, they are really good.

Thanks Loic,

I am working on the Anzio template and the player will make a carrier takeoff, direct naval gunfire, elude German aircraft attacking the beaches, dodge around balloon cables and finally find a suitable field just inland from the beach to land. Some of the fields will be mined and the player will not know which ones, if he picks the wrong one his plane will be blown up by a mine.

During the Anzio invasion after launching from a converted LST Capt. Shultz landed in a mine field but did not hit a mine, nearby troops yelled at him and he sat in the aircraft without moving until engineers cleared the field, other L-4s were not as lucky.

The Germans always mined the best looking and longest fields, the player should look for a short field bordered by trees to be safe.:salute:
