Local Legend 23: Fokker F27 Friendship Released

Got it this morning because I love the default A320neo by Inibuilds. Doing my first flight from Leeds-Bradford (UK) to Schiphol so I can see the new Netherlands scenery, too.
The Friendship is built to the same high spec as the A320neo, with a GNS430 or GTN650 on the glareshield and a basic autopilot on the centre console.
I'm using the payware PMS GTN750 with it for now due the lack of a manual at the moment, and it's working perfectly so far.
There are two HPC levers on the quadrant which look like condition levers but don't move with the mouse or with my Logitech Flight Yoke System prop levers either, but the prop rpm gauge needles do move when I use my Logitech prop levers.

Excited about this, and I'd grab it immediately if the texture files weren't encrypted. So, for now, I'll wait to see if any good liveries show up on fs.to. I hope they do.
Also, based on the video, there's no visible pilot/co-pilot in exterior view. Ghost planes are a deal-breaker for me. Is the video correct, or does the pilot/co-pilot actually show?

Yes, inside and out:

Update on the HPC levers - they DO move with the mouse, there are clickspots on the detent labels printed on the quadrant itself, rather than the levers.

Same here. I LOVE the F27, but the encrypted texture files are deal wrecker for me until I start seeing liveries (Bonanza, Hughes Air West, and all the colors of the original Air West would be AWESOME!).

The first aircraft my wife ever flew in - an Air UK one, from Norwich to Amsterdam. This model will have to go on the 'One day, maybe' list - I am too stacked out with new MSFS aircraft at the moment, with barely enough time to read their respective manuals. A nice situation to be in, of course...

I just found this F27 Q&A page on the Inibuilds forums:

And the full manual pdf can be downloaded here:

Does anyone know if it has the option of the square ended props as well as the rounded that appear to be standard?

No there's just the one "F27" variant with no "-100" or "-200" suffix for example, possibly to avoid having to produce the dozens of variants that evolved over the years.

Ready to buy it because it'll be $2.99 after my MS Points credit, but then I look at my Dash 7 and ATR 72 sitting in my hangar gathering dust and have managed to hold off.

If I'm going to fly something that holds more than eight people and can't land on a bush strip, I think I'll save up for the iniBuilds TriStar. But if I hear of lots of folks having fun here, or I see cool Piedmont/Allegheny/Aloha paints, I may well cave and join the party. SO HARD NOT TO JUST BUY ALL THE PLANES.

(Except modern tubeliners. Those are easy to ignore.)
