Hallo every one, every one hallo,

The Lockheed Harpoon from Milton is really a very nice bird !
I want to make some repaints.
But I encounter a big problem: how to accord paint lines with the
main and the rear fuselage ?
The paint kit doesn't help me.
Does some one have an idea to help me ?

michaelvader; having the fuselage split into 2 halves was done to improve the degree of detail on this fine model.

You will need to experiment a little to exactly match both halves, but with a little time and patience you'll get it working.

Michal, when I do the texture mapping in gmax, I position within .001 meter as the smallest increment. You want to check your texturing program to ensure that you can adjust in equally small increments.
 
Hi,
A lovely bird indeed, but my query is regarding changing the Bendix radio for something a bit older looking; parts of other systems I swap work, but not the VOR or Comm bits ..the numbers won't move....I think there must be something I need to change in a cfg perhaps?

Hi again...I keep finding nice radio set-ups, but I cannot get them to function..I thought I knew what I was doing on this basic level, but obviously not.. here is a pic of the latest one not to work!

The Adf parts work, but the Nav and Comm sections won't click at all

The problem might be the standby frequency option that the Bendix radios have. If that's it you can try this setup and see if it works better for you.

[Radios] // availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1 = 1
Com.1 = 1, 0
Com.2 = 1, 0
Nav.1 = 1, 0, 1
Nav.2 = 1, 0, 0
Adf.1 = 1
Adf.2 = 1
Transponder.1 = 1
Marker.1 = 1

First, Nav 2 worked and then after I copied it as you showed :pop4:, they both worked !!

1/2 hour later.....just completed a circuit and ILS landing at KSEA. Thanks again for the info!
 
Lockheed Harpoon firebomber/ tanker panel and repaint

Hallo dear classic aircraft friends,

I just tried to load up my vision of a possible panel for the fin Lockheed Hapoon done by Milton Shurpe.
It is done here as a tanker version. I also joined a repaint as "Tanker 110".
Also I propose some minor changes in the aircraft.cfg to use it as firebomber and drop water/retardants.
I tested the ship on an old steam powered pc with fs2004.
I hope that some ones will have fun with her.
