These are high-resolution textures (2048) for the IRIS model.

not all of the model is mapped, it lacks the wells of the truck and the weapons bay, the same for the inside of the airbrakes ... and It's still Unmarked!

Someone can help me to find documents for them to apply with precision?

Many thanks in advance

Ciao Merida72,

Several years ago I wanted to do an S-3 model...and lacking some information I wrote directly to Lockheed Martin... with my surpise, few weeks later, I've received a very interesting publication about the S-3 directly from LM (!) with some of the information you are looking for... But that was at least 5-6 years ago, and I have no idea where it is (probably at my parent's home)... I'll see if I can find it next time I visit them.

Anyway, you paintjob is looking really good so far.

The IRIS model had so much potential but as you pointed out the wheel wells were not painted and other issues.

When the wings were folded they cut into each other.

When "Navy 1" was turned over to the museum I left a lot of hand prints on it while taking some images, especially stenciling.

Dino, If you did a S-3 and did a Photoshop layer paint kit I would be in heaven. I could do textures for a year.

@rsgunner

All my development files are lost - but the project was stopped just after the "documentation" stage... so the only thing I could share are scans from the booklet LM sent me (provided I can find it).

Then, it would be great if IRIS could revisit the S-3 model and bring it up one notch. It is definitely a model with much potential...

@Merida72

Ottimo lavoro.

hello Dino
happy to meet you

thanks for the info, if you happen to find the file LM remember me.

The model is nice in general, in detail a bit 'less ... See the folding of the wings ... I also hope that the IRIS Consider the re ...

are now grappling with the VC ...

Are these textures for the freeware FS9 S-3 by IRIS or for a dedicated FSX version? I don't run FSX, but I do have the freeware FS9 S-3...nice model, love flying it!

Dino's upcoming model looks awesome and thanks for sharing the images but why do people keep dragging up these old threads that we read through only to notice that the dates are four years old? Is the "Start New Thread" function broken?

I agree Frank, this one deserves its own thread. It looks great!

Yet another stunning treat from Dino. I know it's a ways away, but does give one something to look forward to.

Thanks in advance!
