Lockheed Ventura

I thought we had a Harpoon? Must be thinking Cfs2. It looks similar to the Hudson but actually not really related.

I would like to see one too

IL-2 '46 is my "other woman" ! IL-2 '46 BAT "Red Core" has over 1,250 different aircraft ,and that is just the part that covers WW II ! Would be nice if some could be converted but i don't know just how difficult that would be. Regards,Scott

There are some really talented people here ,but it's a time thing. Many are working on pressing matters now. Hopefully in the future more conversions will be done for CFS3,but there is some new exciting aircraft coming our way soon . Patience my friend. Regards,Scott

Folks,
All you have to do is ask Milton Shupe for the his FSX Ventura GMax source file, he's very happy for people to play with his models. And then of course someone will have to build for CFS3, but at least it's fully built with various models.

Cheers

The source files for it and other aircraft by Milton Shupe are in the SOH library and they are also over at FSDeveloper site. Search in the library here using Milton_Shupe in the User Name block. They should be on page 9 of the search results

piece of cake for someone like you Shessi :encouragement:

Ha ha...Gmax...pahhh not me, not clever enough (not like you Steve!), but for you guys, I'm sorry to say there's only a few who could/would do it, but does mean more work for them, the good thing is that it's already built!

Fingers crossed

Cheers

Milton was an absolute star to let me loose with his Beech 18, but it was still an awful lot of work to get it in cfs3. However, most of that was emitters and damage modelling etc. There was also a bit to do on the cockpit as animations etc aren't the same.
I would love a go at the Ventura but until I retire (7 years) or win the lottery that's not going to happen.
If only you guys didn't want to bomb and shoot everything it would be a lot easier! 😁
I'll say it again that CFS3 is the perfect platform for a pre 50's civilian flight sim.

Like things that go BOOM ! LoL !That's why i could never get into MSFS . Sure the civilian flight sims have a lot of aircraft but what do you do ,look at scenery ? CFS3 is the best all around air combat sim i've ever played ,thanks to all the hard work put in by great people ! So many other aircraft i'd like to see , but we sure do have some good ones though. Pat ,wish you had as much time on your hands as me , but being disabled is no fun either . Wish i was as talented as some of you guys , maybe then i could contribute... Regards,Scott

Oh you mean

Like the Harpoon and Ventura I have nearly finished you mean......Yes have a Harpoon nearly done and Ventura Pacific Nightfigher all external textured, animated with a flight model too; just have finsh the cockpit (texure it)..... Just need a reason to finish them along with a Gecko, Whitley, and ? I forget what else is lurking. Yes they are Milton's models he sent me....:adoration:
