Logitech 3D pro joystick

highpockets

SOH-CM-2025
I tried this stick one time before several years ago and thought it too stiff but thought I would get one and try again--. It would not stay on my desk even to make a gentile turn. I have a thrustmaster 1600 which is OK but I have to hold a slight up on most every a/c n my sim.
Any comments? I am about to send the Logitech back. I wish the old ms ff joystick was still around. I tossed mine some time ago. I was all over the place. :-(

I have this stick, for me it's the best overall joystick, tried almost all of them, Cougar, Warthog, X56, VKB Gladiator, T1600M Hotas, I keep going back to the 3D Pro.

My 2 cents

Yo HP:

Hope yer staying dry & warm down there.
First it was hurricane hell ... then hell froze over!

The Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is my favorite.
I swear by it ... and occasionally at it.

Very heavy "over center" feel and a bazillion programmable buttons.
- I've never used anything but a joystick, no separate throttle or pedals.

However - twisting the grip provides rudder control - unlike the other 2D sticks. :encouragement:

The only flaw I've encountered is when the "centering spring" breaks which puts the plane into a roll.
Can't be fixed - the stick is junk.
BUT - call Logitech Customer support if the stick is dead they will send you a voucher for $$$ off your next one. :ernaehrung004:

Currently using my 3rd in 16 years - no complaints! :jump:

Good morning highpockets: :wavey:

If as you say: " I have to hold a slight up on most every a/c in my sim," you need to use your elevator trim = keyboard number pad keys 1 and 7 to trim your nose up to level flight with no stick input.

For stability, you might try attaching the stick's base to a short piece of board. Mine has holes in the base for bolts for just that purpose.

Dirtman-- missed Hurricane Harvey floods by about a block and freeze no pipe damage and no power outage.Glad for that because we are all electric. On the hospital grid.😁

Shadowolf--been using keys to trim. Just a lazy pilot. 😉
Thanks to all others. I have a 30 day trial so will give her a test.
