Hello! I' m going to buy Carenado C172 with G1000 but I don't know if the Carenado G1000 is a good replica of the real one with fully capabilities... ( at least it should be better than the stock fsx Garmin).
Another option should be a freeware G1000 but wich one?
Someone can give me suggestions? Thanks in advice :triumphant:

I do not have any Carenado/Alabeo aircraft with their G1000, but I have read numerous reports of greatly decreased frame rates with their glass panels. If you computer has any issues with their aircraft that use analog gauges, you are pretty much guaranteed to have problems with getting a smooth sim experience with the glass panels.

Hello! My new PC has plenty of power so for me it's not a hardware
problem! I was simply asking to myself if buying this product
equals wasting money or not. I've read some reviews in the web and are all quite conflicting so I was hoping to read here at SOH directly from some users they feedback about the Carenado Garmin G1000. :mixed-smiley-010:

Hi Menef,

there is also this:
http://www.mindstaraviation.com/Product_G1000.html

Detailed feature list:
http://www.mindstaraviation.com/G1000_Features.html

However it is a gauge, not a complete aircraft, so you'd have to install it into your aircraft of choice yourself, provided this is possible with your
chosen aircraft model-wise and you need some basic editing skills for this of course.

I can't comment on the quality of the mindstar garmin, as I don't own it and this is not meant as advertising for it , I simply wanted to point
out what else is available on the market before you spend any money, if you re looking for a reality oriented avionic implementation.
Maybe someone else who already owns it can chime in.

Kind regards,

Oliver

OK Thank you :triumphant:

The Carenado G1000 is simply a re-worked version of the default FSX G1000, so don't expect much difference.
