Looking for certain carrier scenery

aeromed202

SOH-CM-2014
As I reinstall sceneries I cannot find one that I thought was unique. It is one of an aircraft carrier with a ski-jump bow for Harriers. I liked it because the ramp actually worked instead of merely being a visual you just ghosted through. Can't say what nationality it was but if anybody knows this one I would like to find it again.

Do a search for 'task force' at the big two, forget which. There is a task force located off the Falklands Island/Islas Malvinas. Also might turn up the high-rise scenery of Portsmouth which includes a Ski jump carrier (not sure if that one works though)

You could head to UKMil and download their version of the Task force, it includes the same taskforce in several locations.

Thanks, that was probably it. It's by Thomas Pitts with credits to Simon Swallow for some earlier sceneries used in the making. The ramp is a bit crude but it does work. I'm trying to get Alpha's AV-8B to tame down a little by reworking the FDs. I found them in general to be just too out there for any decent flying. It is an unsupported aircraft so if I get something workable I'll post it for some feedback. I've yet to find a decent flying Harrier, freeware anyway.

Ask over at cbfsim; you should be able to locate Dave Garwood's re-worked HMS Hermes;
that one will be located just south of Isle of Wight.
