Looking for reviews of Aerosoft's Piper Cheyenne

On the fence on Aerosoft's Piper Cheyenne, which is the only Cheyenne I can find out there. The reviews on FSPilotShop seem to go both ways, and was wondering if anyone had a strong opinion one way or the other. I've had hit-or-miss experience with Aerosoft products, so I'm cautious about getting it.

Thoughts? Insights? Bueller? Bueller?

One of my favourite GA twins, have not flown it in FSX but it certainly gets me around in FS9.
And a PS: The Cheyenne is credited to 'Digital Aviation', which explains why it is rather good.

This was one of the first GA payware add-ons I got and it still sits comfortably in my list of 'good buys'.

It has a good level of systems modelling, the flight model seems good to me and although it is a little demanding on framerates it was still fluid on my old Q6650 and 8600GT setup.

I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot. I found it a nice little plane for exploring PNW as it had a good balance between speed and short(ish) field ability.

It's one of my all-time favorite GA planes. Great modeling, beautiful VC, and no complaints about the flight dynamics. In fact, my only gripe about it is that I never got cozy with the stock GPS unit, but that's easy enough to swap out with the default GPS or a RXP unit, I suppose. Even after all these years, I'd rate it as a good buy.

Well I think that settles it then! Unless I get a reasonable negative post (as in, something other than just "I think the plane is junk and I'd never recommend it to anyone anywhere ever" without justification), it'll be next on the fleet acquisition roster.

Thanks! :salute:

Well a negative comment should not put you off, because it's an oldy but one of the best GA around!

Get it! ;)
