I know that there is a re-paint of the Canuck Unlimited C-47 for the MAAM-SIM DC-3/C-47 Pack (maamcwhm.zip), by any chance is there one for the default DC-3. Since I don't own that add-on.:kilroy:

Appriciate the feedback.

Head over to flightsim.com and grab the Douglas C-47 Package with Long Range Tanks by Dave Bitzer and Mark Beaumont. It is a long range conversion of the default DC-3 and includes 5 liveries.
There is a Canucks Unlimited repaint for that pkg by Doug Smith.

Use the search words " Douglas C-47 Package with Long Range Tanks " at flightsim and both pkgs will come up together.

BTW, if I recall correctly, the Canucks Unlimited texture can be applied to the default DC-3 in case you don't want the C-47 pkg.

Where bouts did you find that info, I was never aware that this particular livery worked on both planes.:kilroy:

QUESTION - I tried out that C-47 before, I lond time ago to be exact, and I ran into the problem of the gauges not showing up in the panel and VC. And I'm not sure if there was a fix for that.:kilroy:

In the meantime, I'll try this paint on the default dc-3. See what happens.:icon_lol:

The Canucks Unlimited paint works great on the default DC-3. I drug a copy over last night and it shows up flawlessly. Just remember to change sim=DC3_RR3 to sim=Douglas_DC3.

As far as no gauges on the long range model...in addition to the supplied gauges in that package, you need to make a copy of the default DC-3's "Douglas_DC3.cab" from your default DC-3's panel folder and place it in the main FS Gauges folder.

The Canuck Unlimited paint worked, quite nicely I will admit. Thanks a lot.:ernae:

As far as the long range C-47 goes, I'll give that another try as well.:kilroy:

2nd Thought, Right you are again. I guess I've got to improve on reading the Read-me file more often. But in my defence, the last time I tryed that plane out, I wasn't a big fan of the read-me's.

Thanks Again, Appriciate it.:jump::jump::jump:
