• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

...the "WarbirdSim P-51 Restored" and "Restored 2" sets. Have I waited too long? If not any thoughts on where I might be able to purchase it? I thought I had every P-51 model they made. Turns out...NOT! After tossing my virtual storage facilities - 3 times that's the only title I don't have and I really "need" one of the models in that set.

Are you looking for the earlier models, P-51B, C, and III and Flight Leader I? Go to PCAviator.

Flight Leader I is for FS9, but works well in FSX.
 
Hey WH, thanks, but I have those. The ones I’m looking for I think are maybe 2 of the last sets they produced for the “D” model in FSX.

..those are also at PCAviator. Just call up Warbirdsim as the manufacturer. They're labeled as P-51D Mustang - Part 1 and 2.
 
Thanks Huub. Yeah, I looked at those after WarHorse tipped me off but they’re a little too rich for a single repaint. I found a model out of the ones I do have that’ll do for that repaint. The main things I needed were a “cuffless” prop and the two seater stretched canopy. Thought I had it but I didn’t.
