Lost joystick programming

I have had CFS3 since it first came out and have all versions of it running on my system at the moment ... now the other day I though Hmmmm I might just bomb a few ships ... I found that I had no Joystick programming in CFS3 stock, CFS3 Firepower, BOB, PTO, ETO etc etc .... I tried them all and have lost all the programming on each one ???? What the heck causes this? It's never happenend to me before??

I had a similar problem with my joystick,( Logitech EXTREME 3D PRO) don't know what causes this to happen
but if you need to reconfigure your stick this is how its done.


Go to

C:\Documents and Settings\<userName>\Application Data\Microsoft\Combat Flight Simulator 3.0

Delete all the files that end in .xca. Those are the joystick config files. Delete them all and then go back in to CFS3 and reconfigure your joystick and save the settings
