Lotus 49.

After seeing the historic GP I felt the need to drive a few classics myself, and this Lotus 49 from Project Cars was a great experience!

:applause:

Oh My!!! My favourite !!! Nice screenies, Ferry ! :jump:

Alas i lost PCars... In fact i lost just about everything including my OS... Starting up all over again. FSX and Railworks running well again, PCars still to re-install. Anything new re PCars vintage F1 since last year, Ferry ?....

Thanks!

No, just a bunch of new Mercedes' cars added.
The biggest change is that the old installer no longer works, it's being run through Steam now. Check the pCars forums on how to obtain a Steam code.

Thanks, Ferry, great tip ! Have to say i love Steam. I had my TS2013 ( former Railworks) plus all the TS DLC i bought via Steam (a LOT!!) re-installed in just about 20 minutes by just one click. Didn't know about that. Very much surprised to see everything back in one go !

I'll check the PCars forum.

Thanks again! :salute:

Cheers,
Jan

That's why I like Steam and Origin as well; simply download what you bought when you need it, and all you need is a password to log into steam after reinstalling your computer. Updates are automatic too.

I bought the Sims 3 when it came out but Win7 didn't like those CD's so I never played it again, until I bought Crysis 3. It required Origin (Steam from EA) but apparently I already had an account.. So I tried my old Sims 3 password and there it was in my EA Origin account, ready to download!

One of the more interesting added cars is the 'Batman Benz', the Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evo II Group A. A crazy Mercedes from a time when they only made square boxes that made good taxi's.

A great companion for the BMW M3 E30 Group A! Time to relive some of those early '90s DTM battles. :d

Found a street version for sale btw, but €70k is a bit too much for me.. http://www.autotrader.nl/klassieker...-190e-25-16-evo-ii-gelimiteerde-no365/detail/

Still can't get over how exceptionally good these models look ! Haven't played pCars for quite a while and now that i have re-installed it ( Steam installation went smooth as a knife thru butter ! ) yet again my jaw is on the floor !
:jawdrop:

There's a thread going on at the Steam/Railworks forum about what other games people play. Lots of FS and Race stuff of course. I asked if anybody was into pCars.... Nobody answered.... Amazing really... :icon_eek:

Lots of talk about something called 'Euro Truck Simulator 2' though. I never did seriously think about it, thought it is probabely too boring. It's also on Steam so i thought what the heck and installed it along with pCars (just 14 Euro). I'm hooked now ! :)

Very well done, actually. Looks terrific and the game play is wonderfully executed. Not boring at all! Just finished a job driving a load of Edammer from Rotterdam to Cambridge, across the channel. Great fun!

Cheers,
Jan
