Works fine in FsX too! :applause: (With the usual port-over 'prop vs. clouds' issue.)

Great aircraft for this month's SOH.net's Italian hoplist:

Noticed the download. The aircraft looks superb (it even includes a Belgium variant if not mistaking!) :salute:!!!

Too bad it is not a native FSX aircraft. I personally dislike the lack of self-shading and the prop-cloud issue so much that i will not even try.

Nevertheless, the author did a magnificent job in bringing this vintage bird back to life!

Nice screenshots, BTW

Thoroughly enjoyed my time flying it last night in FSX-Acceleration - no issues what-so-ever. Brilliant work, on a very high level, as always from Manuele! I really enjoyed reading up on the pilot's notes, and learning the proper engine settings and velocities throughout all realms of flight, in such an aircraft that I have not had prior experience with in a flight sim before. Always fun, that first flight, testing its stall speeds and handling. A lot of fun to fly - feels very streamlined, and quite maneuverable. Requires quite a bit of pre-planning to get the aircraft down to proper approach speeds before landing.

On a real-world note, The Fighter Collection, Duxford, has had a CR.42 under long-term restoration to airworthiness, since about 1995. It will be amazing to see one take to the skies again in the future:
