SOH-CM-2025
My freeware MS FSX SP2/A Martin B-26B/C Marauder has been posted at SOH under FSX/
American Aircraft.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX American Aircraft

Description: FSX SP2/A B-26C-11-MO 41-18322 modeled as Hell's Belle II of the 439th BS/319BG based in Sardinia in 1944. This aircraft was from the 12th Air Force, 319th Bomb Group (Medium), 439 Bomb Squadron based in Rufisque French West Africa, Tafaraoui, Algeria (outside of Oran), Maison Blanche, Algeria (outside of Algers), Dejedeida, Tunisia (outside of Tunis) and Decimomannu, Sardinia (outside of Cagliari) in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations. She flew over one hundred missions between June 1943 and November 1944 in North Africa, Italy and southern France. Her first crew was led by Lt. J. H. Logan but was flown by other crews.

This aircraft is a native code FSX SP2/A aircraft created by W. E. Stephens. The pilot character "Pilotpfc" was originally created by David Eckert.

Have fun

Thanks for one of my favorite medium bombers! Only have one small issue so far and that's the props. Have a look at the screenie and see if there is a way to fix'em up. Appreciate any help you can provide.

thanks again.

OK, that seems to have fixed the issue. As far as viewing the props from the VC goes, you might need to give them a couple of seconds for the textures to load.

Now, for those of you who happen to own the AS Lockheed Hudson and really want to add a touch of realism to this fine bird, simply use the Hudson sounds and crank'em up.

Question: The fix file downloaded from SOH contains only one file named B26B_propblur.dds Looking at the original a/c file, the only comparable file I see is named AH_propblur.dds. Is it necessary to rename the fix file so that it overwrites the original?

No just drop it in the texture folder. I'd guess the other one was a test file that didn't get removed.

B26B props

That is correct. The AH_propblur file was as test file until I got around to painting it right. Just drop the B26B_propblur.dds file into the texture file and you should be good to go. I will clean the distro up with the admin.
