Here's a paint scheme to compliment her sister ships: the Teal, Ansett, and Ansett / Airlines of New South Wales repaints that I have previously released for the Martin Mars. It's really nice to see these obscure airlines / paint schemes flying once again, albeit only in our virtual flightsim world.

This is my first attempt at an exposed aluminum skinned aircraft with this much exposed aluminum. It has an overall weathered aluminum skin, with a few new repair patches here and there to accentuate the existing weathered aluminum. I don't think I want to try this again.....:blind:

Nice paint. I took this model out for a spin yesterday. It's one I never fly in the sim except for maybe once a year, but I love the real plane. The VC textures are atrocious in this model, and I just can't bring myself to flying it for very long because it's too far on the cartoon side.

Yep, the VC is getting long in the tooth. But because it's a separate model from the exterior, there is some hope that the VC alone can be updated in the future.

I wish they'd remake it with more modern programs. It'd be a great bird to fly, but I can't bring myself to purchase it... yet...
