MaskRider DEI2019 Missing Texture Alert!

MaskRider

Tiller of Soil
Hi Guys,

I posted same post in the scenery release thread up in the sticky note section but figured I should re-iterate it here, too.

Somehow or other, due to an attack of brain-flatulence , no doubt, I managed to omit a very important texture from the mr-dutch-east-indies-2019 package.

Its the texture that gets called out to cover the inland water ways and lakes: 012h2wa1.bmp.

Its a custom version of same-named stock file found in the main CFS2/Texture folder.

The stock file is the texture for the deepest blue ocean water.

The missing custom version is a greenish blue muddy looking texture called out by custom waterclass bgls for texturing inland waterways and lakes.

I am pretty sure if you look in your MR Dutch East Indies 2019\texture folder you will find a file named 012h2wa.zip and no file named 012h2wa1.bmp

At some point I must have zipped up the bmp file to send it to someone and inadvertently sent the unzipped version of the file instead of the zipped version. Either that or else when I was done I inadvertently deleted the bmp instead of the zip.

In any event, you'll want to check in your MR Dutch East Indies 2019\texture folder and see if the zip file is there and the bmp file of the same name is not. If so, unzip it and place 012h2wa1.bmp directly into the MR Dutch East Indies 2019\texture folder.

NOTE: Whatever you do DO NOT inadvertently copy it into your main CFS2/TEXTURE folder.

Cheers,
MR

PS: The download has been updated.

Yes, it was a zip-file. Did what you said and it looks much better!

Thanks for letting us flightsimmers know that you're human and make mistakes, like all of us :playful::playful:.

Please go on with all of your great works.

Safe landings,

hertzie.
