I love this plane...

Well done Tim Conrad!

:ernae:

Must have been a very wild plane to fly back then. I would venture to say that it competes with the 'then' era of Gyro-copters, which also took off in short distances.

A German WWII Storch pilot stated that because of the Storch, Germany wasnt really interested in Helo's.

I really like the concept of those small STOL aircraft very much, really love Tim´s Storch and Alphasim´s Lysander (the other side) in FS9. I even got Mr. Werner´s version http://www.schmidtwerner.de/products/fi156.html to give me even more variety, that´s how addicted I am to this little aircraft:d

I really miss the Storch for FSX SP2

I agree Bill. About as close to being in a chopper as you can get...without being in a chopper. Only more fun.

Don't forget, if you have no money, like me, you can get Guy Hulins Morane 500 and 505. 505 has the round sound. Only one .CFG file though. Might do up another with the upped HP of the radial.

Bill,

Do you have all the good add-ons? There a great 2-D cockpit which utilizes the 1928 German instrument package and a superb VC which works off the 2_D install. The Argus sound to your Bu-181 is superb for it too! :ernae: I originally used Gunter's sound for the Bf-108, but I like yours better.

For a link to the other add-ons:

1. 1928 Gauges, just install the entire folder in FS9 > Gauges. Do this first.

I agree, it's the best dang STOL airplane out there and a sheer joy to fly from the VC, the view is terrific.

Of all of Piglet's planes, this is the only one I cannot find the paint kit for! :banghead:

I'll second Cazzie's statement all the way around. The panel is definitely worth the install. I also prefer Bill's sounds over the Bf-108 but you really can't go wrong either way.
