Affirmative. It's a shame as the carrier is a promising addition. It's a given that Asobo will withhold the variables necessary to activate carriers in MSFS until their DLC release also, so it's unlikely we'll see proper working carriers until at least then. Same probably goes for anything the F-18E could offer, such as functioning afterburners, collimated HUDs, more advanced systems etc.
 
Rumor has it, started by me, that Maverick failed his flight physical, and will have to retake it in a few months time. Most likely failure was from absorbing too many heart mummers from young admirers. Like small G tears to you back, these heart mummers can add up over time.

Right.... its not only carriers but perhaps some of part of avionics, colimated HUD / gunsights ect :(. Very pity.
I hope some of those features will be relesed before this DLC.
 
It's no big loss IMO. Having the F/A-18C, F-14A/B and Supercarrier in DCS, those will be very hard acts to follow, I'd submit likely a long time away in this sim platform if ever. I digress, time will tell. I enjoy both platforms for different aspects.
