I've just uploaded a mission pack for Mediterranean Air War, it will be soon available in section CAMPAIGNS & MISSIONS / German.
This is a mission pack about yellow nosed 7./JG26 109s over Matla. Commanded by Oberleutnant Joachim Müncheberg, the staffel stayed in Sicily from February 2nd 1941 to April 25th 1941.
There are 2 free flights and 25 combat missions. Note that the action take place in the MTO in 1941, not over the Normandy in 1944 so don't expect hundreds of aircrafts all around. 7./JG26 never had more than 10 aircrafts available at a time and it was the only German single seat fighter unit in Siciliy during this period. All these missions are based on historical facts and/or have historical context. I've build these mission after the reading of an article in the French magasin AeroJournal.

-> How to play.
There are no mission goals in these missions, player have to do as real pilots did: do your best and try to survive.
There is an issue with the no spawn mode so, these missions have been designed to be flown in Legacy Mode, the stock xml scripts have been reworked in order to have a No Spawn mode without any issues.
-> How to install:
These missions are designed to be played with Mediterranean Air War
http://www.medairwar.com/
- copy facilities xml files in the facilities folder
- copy spawns files and associated xml scripts in the spawns folder (press Y to overwrite, some stock xml scripts will be replaced. The original files are provided in the 'stock spawns' folder in this zip file)
- copy missions files in the missions\historical folder.
- Run the MAW Spawning Setup Utility and setup spawns in Legacy Mode : stock spawns enabled (default). With the new xml scripts provided, it's now a no spawn mode without issues.
- Start MAW and enjoy!
Post or PM any comments or suggestions at SOH or Netwings.
