MAW...aiming window for Condor

anybody else missing the F6 aiming window in their MAW Condor to launch the Henschel rockets? My F6 cycles between the pilot and the bombardier..........F7 to the bombardier. The aiming window comes up in my old GC Condor in the CFS3 install.....F6 toggling between pilot and rocket aiming window.....thanks.....gaw

Me too - F6 cycles between pilot and co-pilot views, but the co-pilot view is the same as the bombardier. I have the AvHistory Fw200 and it shows a horizontal aiming sight with some gauges instead.

Might be shome mistake with the xdp - I'll have a look when I have a chance.

edit: BTW the ETO version also has the correct horizontal sight.

thanks HS for taking a look............and responding....if you've a fix I'd very much like to learn how to do it......thanks again!

Well it's not an xdp problem, it's apparently a model problem and the horizontal sight isn't there in the MAW model. Odd really, because it's the same base model in MAW, ETO and AvHistory versions.

If you just copy the AvHistory version (folder name AvH_GR_Fw_200C-4_F8_AH) to the Aircraft folder it seems to work just fine in my MAW 1.31 install. If you don't have the AvH version, it's at:- http://avhistory.org/communityserver/files/folders/germany/default.aspx?PageIndex=2

Hope this helps.

I will have a quick look into this on the weekend. The MAW condor is a C3 if I remember right. It should have the sight window. If not I will fix it and put it up at Regs hanger.

Ok I miss read the first post here. I checked the model and it is how it should be.
The Condor 200 C3 didn't use missiles this is why there is no VC sight for it. MAW theater was designed for 1941 to 1942 period. Therefore the use of the earlier Condor.

AHA..........got it.......historians rule! Thanks for the info.........and the Condor! GAW

Memo to self: in that case, ignore Henschel and Hagelkorn loadouts. Thanks Greg! :wavey:

can't we just pull the two loadout lines from it's xdp....I'll try it and see if my computer blows up and report back
