MAW my favourite,is it still worked on?

Best mod for CFS3 ever,period!
Actually the first time i prevered CFS3 over the IL-2 series,but i remember sadly someone from the dev.team passing away,before there where expansion plans weren't there?

Sadly, the planned additions to MAW were never completed. Some of the Desert Rats passed away, others went on to FSX or Strike Fighters and some gave up modding/developing altogether - after about three years of colossal effort the burnout was inevitable. Some are still around though: ndicki continues to turn out some smashing work including standalone versions with flight models by greycap.

The expansion is now available from AussieX (after the demise of Netwings) and some aircraft additions have appeared - a splendid B-24 by Luca, Nachtpiloten, sdsbolt and skins by Bravo/4 (who else?) is the best so far. There are also new missions and the expansion still has lots of potential for more add-ons.

Make sure you download the shared files to make the planes work correctly. Install instructions should be there as well.

I am very sorry to say the MAW team isn't together working any more..
A great pity..

I have been trying to expand MAW into different areas (ie..Eastern Front sets)
Granted these are Crazy hobbit mission Packages.. more Hysterical then Historical..

The Masters Have developed many new Aircraft and Items that can be imported into MAW and used..
And I try to get them into my mission packages whenever possible..

I have been trying to Honor the MAW team and their wonderful Expansion with my many sets for MAW..
Not to worry as long as there are missions swimming around in my Furry head I shall continue to send them up for all..

yep, a pity. But I dont mid separate creations by the modders here to enhance MAW. Only thing I am really waiting on is the Ju-87D model and possibly a G in future. CFS 3 only has the B and the freeware G made a while back.
