MAW Ploiesti Missions Help

Hey all, I just finished speaking to a old friend at the US Air Force Museum, I have a appointment, thanks to my old friend to go through the files on the Polesti raid..TOO COOL.. I have been inside of the b-24D they have there, many years ago then the museum was still in Fairborn..Back then the aircraft all were outside and completely open to the public..And 12 year old Hobbit that wasn't afraid to climb into them OPPPS...The friend was a man I met when I flew with the civil air patrol, as a pilot trainee..This will enable me to see some of the orignial papers amd maps..This mission pack has really taken on a life of it's own..WOW..Later this week i shall be looking at items, I never expected ever to see..
i shall keep everyone posted on what happens..:ernae:

Yes, it is a wonderful new Bird..Bravo to the Major on this..For those that enjoy something different this is it..Thanks to Major Magee for this wild skin for the hailfax..
I went to the air force museum yesterday and had a look at the papers from the men who flew this mission..It has been a real eye opener..The statements made by the pilots and crews during ww2 about this mission is surprising..

I have just finished putting together a stand alone for the Hailbarator..<<<<S>>> to Major Magee on all of this..without whom none of this would have been possible..I am getting to the point of building the german intercept missions..The Base mission seems to be working fine..The Low level passes on the oil ststions is a a "BEAR" to do, getting low enough and still surviving the Bomb blast is tricky..And it doesn't help that every AA gun in the area seems to shoot at me..LOL..
I'll keep everyone posted..:ernae:

I was wondering if these should get their own upload into the Add-On Library, or if everyone who might have wanted them, already got them with House Hobbit's mission pack. With the new B-24 coming out both of these are pretty much obsolete anyway.

I am planning to upgrade the missions to the New B-24D when it is released..
I will build a set with the New B24D when we have her..
That should cover all the bases..
Always Planning here..LOL..
