MAW: "Save Configuration As" issue

I'm trying to program a recently acquired game controller (joystick) for MAW. However, when I enter the game control option menu and choose "save configuration as", there's no way to type in the configuration name. This does not happen with ETO, PTO, DPC Korea, etc.

Is it just me or is there an issue here? And is there a way around it?

Well it works if you make a "blind flight", means just type even if you can't see the characters.

It's the same for me but, as Mathias said, it's only a matter of visualization as if You save the configuration typing the name You choose (even if You can't see it), the next time You will see that name in the config menu.
