Any airborne displays were probably scrubbed. The weather here has been total crap all day. Solid overcast, low ceiling, nearly constant rain. My coworker drove past yesterday and said they did have some nice birds on static display.

Thanks for sharing Will....it has been raining here all day non stop. Nice to see someone made it....Mike

Cazzie: Yeah I'm glad I went yesterday, had thunderstorms today and I think everything was scrubbed this afternoon.

The last shot there with the Red eagles brought back some memories from my days working at 47A.

Dan and Buck would fly in the weekend before a show go through the routine several times. Then hang a for a bit afterwards then fly back home.

Nice Pix. The Beaufort MCAS Show this weekend was well recieved, I went to the Dress Rehersal on Friday and enjoyed the fact that there were only 2500 there, so no crowds , no waiting and plenty of seating available. On site were Patty Wagstaff, Jurgen Karys in his Yak, a guy in a Pitts S2A, the RCAF Demo CF-18 (very nicely painted up, did a good show), the AF Reserve Jet Car, the Blue Angels anthe East Coast F-15 Demo from Seymour. As we drove on base, the all clear siren for lightning warning was blowing, and all day the dark skies to the NE showed lightning and we all heard the thunder, BUT it all stayed outside of the 5 mile abort zone so they got a full show in. On Saturday, the Wx was fine, even cool for this time of year in SC (82 F) and clear and bright. They had "over 100,000 attendees" according to the local newsrag, but I am certain they scrubbed Sunday, over 2 1/2 inches in 5 hours of rain, lots of lightning and thunder. We live 9 miles from the runway and I am pretty sure that the weather penetrated the 5 mile sterile zone. It is a bummer that many interested people got rained out Sunday but that is how it is in the South in the Summer. Overall, good show, safe show (2 yrs ago BA 6 was killed at this show) a bit down on attractions (Missing-C-17 demo from Charleston{probably all en route to/from the Middle East}, East Coast F-16 team from Shaw, A-10 demo team, and a couple of others. We are in the height of the Air Show season so they can't all be at the same place, so certainly undertood. As stated, Blues did excellent show and the crowds were happy with them and all others.
