C9G, I got to hear Norah in the recording room of a friend of mine just singing off the cuff and jamming.
I am a member of the Dan River Blues & Folk Society and she came by Tony Turner's home after a concert in Greensboro, NC. Tony is a master bluesman and helped Norah in her early days. She's got a one of a kind voice, just made for Blues and Jazz. You must hear her live if possible.
