[SIZE=-1] FS2004 Scenery--Merrill Field (PAMR), Anchorage, Alaska . Merrill Field PAMR is in Anchorage AK, between Anchorage International to the southwest and and Elmendorf Air Force Base to the north. It caters for general aviation and is the land equivalent of the Lake Hood float plane base, with numerous maintenance facilities and several hundred parking spots for small planes. There are three runways, the longest is 4000 feet of 100 feet wide asphalt, the second 2635 feet of asphalt, and the third 2000 feet of gravel. It is a controlled airfield with a modern control tower. There are almost 50 buildings on the field and three quarters of them have been modeled specifically for this scenery. By Roger Wensley.

Thanks mate! Roger makes fine sceneries, been waiting for a non-default KMPR for a long time.

Cheers

Thanks for the HU, Pete! This should be a nice addition to the area.

*Installed and took a look-see. Very nicely done with tons of eye candy, but unfortunately just too much stuff for my computer. A real slide show. I really hope he kicks out a "Lite" version with maybe a third of what's there now.

An outstanding addition to the FS9 world. When we we go downtown we often drive past Merrill Field and every time we do I wish there was a more realistic scenery for it in my flight sim. No More! Thanks a million (again) Roger. LA

Yikes, my frame rate dropped down to 002.3 FPS from 53 FPS. Ouch. Very nice to look out but wow, I have a Quad speed cpu with 8 gig of memory.... sigh. Thanks Roger, a very nice airport - any ideas why my FPS has dropped so much? Take care.

....The screenshots show what look like a lot of "parked" static aircraft. You may check the scenery folder and see if they're on a separate bgl file that can be removed. That'll go a long way to save FPS.
