Messerschmitt Bf 108 B-1 Taifun
Unit: IV/JG51 Somewhere in Russia, 1941

The Bf-108 Taifun (Typhoon) was a four passenger cabin monoplane built by the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke originally as a civilian light aircraft. The design by Prof. Willy Messerschmitt in 1933 was the forerunner of the famous BF-109 Messerschmitt fighter.
During 1934, the first production-standard model, designated Bf 108A, made its first flight. One year later, it was followed by the Bf 108B, which was powered by the...

Good evening Sir,
at first thank you to have done this plane.
As you can doupt I tried to put her into FS2004.
That there are a great difference between CFS2 and FS2004 we all know,
so some work to make her fly as she should on fs9.
The only think that I did know find out is how to close the cowling?
When I choose the plane in my fs9 she is displayed with the cowling panels open,
and I did not find out how to close them
What is the trick?
Best regards

Thanks for this nice plane Captain, it's nice to see from which aircraft the Bf-109 comes from and how it evolved. Really nice :jump:

In CFS2 it is the open cowl flaps and the close cowl flaps commands. Stock assignments are SHIFT+E to open and CTRL+E to close. I don't have FS2004 so I'm not sure what the key commands would be.

Good morning gents,
thank you for the advice how to close the cowl flaps.
wonder if they will have any influence of the flight behaviour.
When I tried first flights the plane had very heavy nose down attitude in straight flight
I trimmed her outby setting the AP. she kept a straight flight but with the nose very down.
I will see what can be the matter of this today.
I use the Lw 2D panel of my recently published Bf 108 for FS2004. Just had to remove the useless
propcontrol lever.
Best regards
Michael
