That's kind of sad. She was a grand old bird, but she did take a while to crank up and that hurt her in the CSAR role when compared to the newer MH-60.
I've had some pretty wild experiences in the Jolly Green Giant from in flight refueling in in the monsoon at night, fast roping and having a hydraulic line break above me while in flight. Come to think of it, almost all my flights in the MH 53 were at night.
