Settled down at RPMT Marcos for an overnight rest before starting off on my little adventure. Flying the WoP P51D with tanks.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've got to change out the anti roll bar links tomorrow evening (on the car, not the P51!), hopefully I'll get finished in time to get the first short hop in. Then on Thursday the next series of Ice Pilots starts (apparently they measure a pilot's skill by the length of his skid marks!), after that I'm in!

Arrived safely at RPMD - this was such a short flight I got my descent point worked out all wrong and had to put in an orbit on base leg to get down!

Arrived safely at WABB.

Started out with a nice tailwind and found the USS Saratoga without difficulty after about an hour - a nice half way point. Then the wind swung round, initially on the nose then settling off the port side. Worked out a drift angle mentally and saw the mountains right on the nose before the ADF came in range. Flew this in real time, starting out at dawn.

Arrived safely at WAJJ. Poor visibility on climbout but that soon cleared up and I had good visual clues to relate to google maps. slight headwinds most of the way, turned out over the bay to the north west for a straight in approach.

Down safely at AYWK. Flew this one in real time, nice clear night with dawn just about to break as I landed.
