MiG-21MF Liveries

Regarding this old thread:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...oon!-(now-released)/page27&highlight=mig-21mf

1. Are a few of the liveries (such as the Luftwaffe JG-1) by zsoltquack released? I cannot locate them.

2. Are there any other liveries in development by members here, or perhaps buried in some obscure location in the rather confusing file library system only here?

I'm aware of a number on Flightsim.com, Avsim, and Simviation already. Just wondering if further liveries will appear, and if the liveries preview in the linked topic by zsoltquack will be publicly available.

Thanks. Hopefully not too many people here have forgotten this excellent bit of freeware.

I fully agree with you SeanTK

Among many, our friend Zsoltquack still have to release his :

Hungarian Air Force "Red 9509" with "Cold War Era" Hungarian Star markings ;
and also
Egyptian Air Force "White 8226" with typical "ID" orange panels ;

Two superb repaints illustrated below !

Please Zsoltquack talk to us !
and
Many Thanks in advance

Guys, You can find both of the above repaints at Flightsim.com. Just do a seach for Zsolt. I just did the search and found both. Enjoy.

Are you sure about that? I could not find the mentioned paints, just other Egyptian and Hungarian Mig repaints.

As indicated, the existing liveries are easy to find, but we are still missing the referenced JG-1 livery, a Romanian livery that he previewed, and those mentioned by VaporZ.

Still none of the two above mentioned repaints :) But certainly a nice collection made by Zsolt.

Oh. Dang, I thought all but these two. Duh!

Anyway, searching for "Zsolt" on Flightsim and flipping through a few pages find most of the repaints he ever published for the MF.

I suggest e-mailing him or writing him a PM if one really wants the unpublished paints.

Sent him a PM about the German and Egyptian liveries. (I thought I saw the Hungarian one somewhere already too, so I held off on asking until I can confirm that). VaporZ, you may have to ask him about that one.

I also asked about an A-10 livery that I saw a screenshot of a few months ago from him, but now can't find the shot and of course the repaint never appeared.

Looked like this:
http://hsfeatures.com/features04/images/A-10A_JAWS_old-213.jpg

So....we'll see if he responds/what he says about his repaints.

Just spotted this thread and also two Cuban paints in the SOH lib. Zsolts, by chance have you ever done any Cuban paints for this? Been wondering siince i like your work. My other ? does this have load outs by chance or is it clean?

Both the West German and Egyptian liveries are now on Flightsim.com.
Thanks Zsolt!

Yes sir,

I agree !
Thanks Zsolt

Do you also plan to release :
Hungarian Air Force "Red 9509" with "Cold War Era" Hungarian Star markings ;

Illustrated on my message No.2 above ?
Thanks again !

An answer to to your question 2: I have started on my own Hungarian repaint of Bis "5531" using Dags paint kit, it was the last Hungarian 21' to fly.
5531 was decorated with the standard "Griff" Sqn badge on the nose and both the 47th Regiment (Pápa AB) badge and number on the tail. It also had the "Fortis" ad just below the cockpit. Did they sponsor the HuAF? The paint also included three white stars on the central fuselage.

I have been working at Papa myself now for 3 years and seen the old HuAf Mig-21s myself almost every day. Kind of a sad sight to see the old fighters slowly rust away.
