• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Long ago I tried to get one of the extra skins that were available in Milan Lisner's site but the link was dead, and I couldn't get an answer to my mails from Mr Lisner.

Has anyone kept the file of the Bulgarian plane (av534_bul.zip)?

Boatz, my research shows that NONE of these files are currently available anywhere on the web.

Please write to Rami for instructions on obtaining permission to upload any you have here for permanent "storage"...?

It will be hard to contact him through the e-mail in the readme or the web, as I tried before without any results, but as long as proper credit is given, I think it should be fine.
 
I just found a Facebook profile for Mr Lisner, and have sent him another message. Fingers crossed.
 
No answer for the moment, but at least the plane is alive at Flightsim, in the FS2002 section. Making a search by Milan Lisner brings it in the first page of results.

No luck with the extra skins though.
 
The airplane and a couple repaints are at FlightSim.CZ. I always thought that the 534 was one of the most beautifully proportioned biplanes I ever saw.
 
I agree with normb- it is a nice looking aircraft... It's been one of my favorite planes to fly for a while. Long ago I picked up all the extra skins for it as well... at least as far as I know- I have a total of 9 liveries for it.
I always wished Milan would update it for FS9- it flies there fine, but the prop doesn't show at all, running or otherwise...

Norm, the search over at flightsim.CZ shows nothing. Do you have to be registered over there for it to work? Thanks.

The aircraft over at flightsim.com is FS2002 with .dp and 10 kg. bombs for CFS2, so the aircraft is available to us, I'd love to have those different skins for it. I'm gonna see how it goes up against the I-15 and I-16 and early Luftwaffe fighters.

Friends, I dug into an external HD and thanks to Japlance(and because of Boatz) I have the Bulgar texture and found 5 other textures, the exhaust effect, and two versions of the aircraft:

a534s4_cfs2_11.zip - Aircraft
a534_exhaust_fx.zip - Exhaust effect
a534_cz2.zip - Czech police skin
a534_sl1.zip - Slovak skin 1
a534_sl2.zip - Slovak skin 2
a534_bul1.zip - Bulgarian skin(numbering indicates there might have been a second Bulgar skin)
a534_ger1.zip - German skin
a534_ger2.zip - German skin

This little package zipped into slightly more than 4 meg. With Rami and the other Admin's permission, PM me an email and I'll pass this package along. This little aircraft is a pleasure to fly, both in CFS2 and FS 2002.:salute:

I have 2 Czech, 2 Slovak, 3 Luftwaffe, and 1 Bulgarian skins for the Avia... If need be, I can upload whatever skins you don't have...

Send the whole package, we are never too short of files to be preserved for the future generations.

Too many CFS 2 sites have closed by now, and we urgently need to gather those files.

Old thread but did these ever get uploaded ( and transferred over)? Most or all of the available skins were done by Alessandro Biagi. Perhaps he can be contacted for upload permission if it is deemed necessary.
 
FYI - I have the original aircraft and three of the skins if we need 'em but it would be less confusing if someone has a whole package to upload.
