Miltech Simulations announces Aerial Refueling Pro

Mr.Mugel

SOH-CM-2024
Take a look here:

Miltech announced this via Facebook today, but Info is also available via the link above. Release is planned for this summer. Sounds quite interesting, especially for the military aviation crowd. For me it is interesting just considering the aspect of precision flying required to pull it of.

There's not much info available yet.
But I'm kind of pessimistic. MSFS doesn't support physical connections between aircraft. It's probably going to be the same ridiculous system as we had back in FSX with TackPack, just needs to be at the more or less the right place, and the refuel happens magically, no matter if you could actually catch the basket or not... I'm not really interested in spending money for such an unrealistic feature.

But maybe Miltech prooves me wrong and provide an actual refuelling system, with all animations, connections and all ?

Yeah, that's also a valid thought.
The things they achieved with their Supercarriers package (elevators working on command, joystick based slew mode, etc.) are quite cool, though. So maybe they'll deliver something cool here. Good thing is that these days you can check youtube reviews, etc. to make an informed decision before parting with your cash.
