They did also:

"FLASH SALE THIS FRIDAY AUGUST 26TH! (24 hours only). This is your chance to grab any of our aircraft you've been eyeing, for 30% off!"

Hmmm... as far as the abbreviation goes (no one is likely to write down Blackbird Simulations all the time..) i hope they carefully thought this over...

Btw, the image doesn't depict a blackbird but a crow.. ( wonder if this all has been betatested sufficiently. Seems like a rush out the door job to me.. :teapot: )

BBS anyone? I think Blackbird is a generic name. There are many "black" birds, the Crow being one.

Milviz has been moving from strictly military aircraft for sometime. The name Milviz or Military Visualizations will still be the name of the commercial/military side of the business.

Scientific name: Turdus merula. Bird family: Turdidae. Order: Passeriformes (Songbirds)

English: Blackbird (or Common Blackbird)
French: Merle
Spanish: Mirlo
Italian: Merlo
Dutch: Merel
German: Amsel
Portuguese: Passaro preto
Japanese: Kuroi tori
and so on

Scientific name: Corvus corone. Bird family: Corvidae. Order: Passeriformes (Songbirds)

English: Crow
French: Corbeau
Spanish: Cuervo
Italian: Corvo
Dutch: Kraai
German: Krähe
Portuguese: Corvo
Japanese: Karasu
and so on

(always nice when you have something to do when not virtually flying.. :) )

Btw, personally i have never heard a crow being called a 'blackbird' . Sure, maybe by people who can't even distinguish a seagul from a sparrow.. (like people who are being asked what kind of computer they have and then answer with "a black one" ..:teapot: )

Milviz is a good short, catchy name, no need to abbreviate. And most of all very well known, established and stable. "Never change the name of a winning team"...

All the Milviz's/BBS's available on the MSFS Marketplace (including the C310) are also on sale.
