• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

If you wish to have a working Air to Air Radar displaying the AI traffic aboard the plane (until a working Radar is fitted),
here is how you can do it :

1. Download the free Marciano's Radar version from here (FS2002 AI Radar Window) : http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=39223133&page=6

2. From the "Gauges" folder of the download, place the 2 files in your FSX "Gauges" folder

3. From the "Bitmap" folder of the download, place the .bmp in your Milviz F-4 panel folder

4. Back up first and open with notepad your "Panel.cfg" (in F-4 panel folder) and add these lines (in red) :

[Window Titles]
Window00=ACM
Window01=Radar

//--------------------------------------------------------
[Window00]
Background_color=159,159,159
size_mm=820,459
window_size_ratio=1.000
sizeable=0
position=0
visible=1
ident=70
render_3d_window=0
window_size= 0.416, 0.3658
window_pos= 0.2, 0.2

gauge00=MV_F-4_ACM!MV_F4E_ACM, 10,10,800,439

//--------------------------------------------------------
[Window01]
file=RADAR.bmp
size_mm=149,166
window_size_ratio=1.00
position=8
visible=0
ident=IFR_MAIN_PANEL

gauge00=F16!Radar, 10,15,127,113
gauge01=F16!Radar Mode, 17,144,32,12
gauge02=F16!Radar Range, 51,144,32,12
gauge03=cpt.icons!ifr_T, 100,145,16,11

//--------------------------------------------------------

Background_color=0,0,0

5. With "Shift+2" you can activate the Radar Window inside the sim.

You may use it for Recon patrols or whatever you may imagine.
