his is a repaint of the Milviz P-38L. This is one of the aircraft involved in the finding and shoot down of the G4M "Betty" Bomber with Admiral Yamamoto aboard. This is Miss Virginia, flown by Rex Barber. This aircraft was originally piloted by Lt. Robert Pettit. He had severely damaged a submarine chaser and had a ship image painted on the nose.
