Milviz Phantom port-overs at FS.to.

I've tried them, they're brilliant, if you can live with unclickable cockpits. They indeed look (and fly) brilliantly!

Great... missed Milviz F4 since leaving use of FSX. Only problem I'm finding is that the loadouts don't change for me despite changing weights.

Are you using Lbs, not Kg?

If you hold the L key, do the weapons all flash on/off?

My understanding was that the value you entered in the weight column was a digit 1,2,3,4 or 5 rather than an actual weight. Have I got that wrong? if so are the actual weights listed anywhere?

That's correct, but the game still reads the digit as weight and it needs to be in Lbs to register properly

I've checked it is in Lbs. I also checked what happens when you click on L... no flickering, but slime lights come on and refueling port opens.

Its very odd. I can get some loadout options to appear. If I put the gun pods on the wing outer pylons I can get the fuselage Sparrows to show but not without them.

Anybody get the throttles to work? I have tried several throttle settings and no movement. I can't even get them to work with the mouse.

As you said, that is very odd. I cannot think of any reason why that would be happening unless there is some sort of file conflict - do you have multiple versions installed together? Sorry, I'm really drawing a blank on a root cause

They won't work with the mouse because the entire cockpit is non-clickable as mandated by Milviz. I am not sure why they would not be functional for you, I have not seen complaints about it anywhere else

Not sure what it could conflict with. The F4J and E folders are just installed in the community folder as they come and I'd of thought they are self contained without reference to outside folders. Sometimes these things happen... heh ho. Thanks for trying to assist though.

Thanks, I will look for conflicts.

Well it turns out that MS2020 is not seeing the throttles. I tried it with the stock Barron and the same thing happened. I can go into the Controls setup and bind them. I see movement in the Controls binding, but not in game. Strange? None of the 3rd party apps help.

I did a circuit or two round Edwards yesterday in the F-4J. I'm not really one for fast jets in MSFS, but I do like this one, non-clickable and all. Love the RAF paints too - the story of the F-4J coming into UK service is quite an interesting one.

Flew the F-4J yesterday & its very smooth.
Is there anywhere a table of "Key Binds" for the aircraft?
I was using the basic keyboard Autopilot but sometimes when I hit CTRL H for Heading [it only follows 360 degrees at the moment], the arrestor hook would drop down.
Also, any way to change the Heading you want as can't do it via cockpit clicking.

The Lvars (assigned by the developer) and Kvars (MSFS events) should bind to a control. A third party like Axis and Ohs will see these varables and allow you to bid them to a button or swich.

Key bindings are set by your game, not the airplane. The tail hook and wing fold work with their respective commands built into the game. The only 'special' functions are the light types outlined in the readme file (Taxi, Wing, Logo, and Recognition lights) which can be set to any key bind you prefer using the Controls options in game.
