Mind if We Park Here?

Ok.... This is wierd. I was just thinking of your other hovering USAF creation last night and now you post this!

Talk about Deja Vue...

Very cool looking. Pretty massive. What would the accelleration rate be and what is cieling? Is it pressurized?

I see you have a command deck (VC) in this thing. Any photos of it yet? (I saw the edges of the window sills and some instrumentation).

Holy cow this one won't have and FAA number it will have a zip code.
It's bigger than the town I live in LOL.

Tim,

What scenery are you using? Is that a default field in FSX?

Also, what straight winged jet are you flying there?

Ship looks interesting.

Excellent ! I love those Sci-Fi addons :)
Might be cool to create some Ai traffic for it, too.

I can answer your question on the scenery.
Looks like its the Edwards Air Force Base freeware scenery addons 'KickPak' for FSX from THINGS-TO-COME.
It enhances the default Acceleration Edwards Air Force Base.
You can download it here:

Along the lines of the hanger released by Eaglesoft, will this have a program to allow us to position it wherever we would like? Whatever the case it is cool. I had thought of what it might take to make something similar but fixed on land, sort of like those airfields made out of attached oil rigs the U.S. Military has looked at, but could be positioned in mountainous terrain. But this could be positioned anywhere, hence my question. :)

Sundog,
Might look into it. My scenery skills aren't as up as my basic plane making bafoonery.
The whole MAB idea is kinda like a super ground-effect mobile airbase. Don't like where your airport is? Move it! Never goes faster than, say, 80 kts, and no higher than, say, 300 agl. Not meant to zip around like the smaller ACV carrier I did earlier. Also, unlike the military ACV, the Mobile Air Base is civvie. So no weapons, (unless you bring your own...)
P.S. It will have a dog park.
