Mines

Hello there to O-1Driver, REG, the Groundcrew Group, and all others:

Do any of you have, or know, or are developing, mines, for anti-shipping use.

Looking through a bit of WW1 hx,( as I fly OFF), most if the shipping loss to the "enemy" was through the use of mines.

Look forward to any reply on the topic.

Cheers,

There are underwater mines in the eto and the pto (mine_cannon). There are also tank and vehicle mines. I believe Driver has plans on creating aerial sea mines for some aircraft in the future

BE,

In ETO when mission building look under facilities and you will see the following:

Tank_Mine - This is a land mine that will blow up tanks and tracked vehicles

Vehicle_Mine - This is a land mine that will blow up any vehicles

Naval_Mine _ This is a floating Naval mine that will target ships and facilities

The mines have a limited range (300) so be sure and place them in close proximity to where te vehicle or ship formations will travel. There are several missions in Solomons and ETO that use these mines. The facilities are invisible and have no labels.
