I have simconnect.xml is that the same thing? Active Sky is asking for this file? Any body got a clue? I Have acceleration!

David

Hi,

1. Uninstall Acceleration using the Control Panel.

2. Reinstall Acceleration.

3. See what Active Sky says then.

Those are not the same thing!

Thanks,

Hi David,

Thanks for your support! You never got good weather because your SimConnect was not installed properly. In fact, you probably didn't even have ASA weather at all, but FS weather. No wonder you never had good weather.

Thanks Again!!

Yep I understand that. I use to have Active Sky X and or the upgraded version installed in FSX but my computer crash completely. I had to reinstall XP Pro and everything else including FSX and Acceleration and acceleration did not install SimConnect.xml which has been fine so far up to reinstalling Active Sky. But It's no loss like I said didn't get good weather out of it. It would be raining in my area, in real, and active sky would give me sunny conditions more times than not. Clouds would jump in and out like popcorn and land would get all unfocused. Bad!

David

Hi,

Your problems are not with SimConnect.xml. It is too bad you are singling out ASA because this is not an ASA issue. So your constant "I never got good weather out of it," are because of SimConnect, not our products.
