I Installed CFS3 and patched it than installed OFF correctly. The game works just fine. But when I tried to initiate the "mb" folder (Mission Builder) in the OFF folder I get an error message " This application has failed to start because jpeg.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem." Anyone else ever get this message?????
I would rather not reinstall everything. Takes a while:banghead:

go to the mission builder icon in the game folder

rt click, hit properties, and make sure the path is pointed to the off install.
then rename the icon to O.F.F. mission builder and send it to the desktop.

then it is filled out wrong

make sure it is pointed in the right direction. and take a close look at the wording.

The address is correct. I even renamed the "mb" folder to O.F.F. mission builder and sent it to desktop. But I still get the missing jpeg.dll message.

What about all the contents of the mission builder folder?
When I right click the renamed O.F.F. mission builder it just opens the folder to another batch of folders. MB readme, configs, dll's and a CFS3 Mission Builder icon. when I right click that icon I still get missing jpeg.dll. I even renamed that CFS3 Mission Builder to O.F.F. mission builder and sent it to the desk top. But no go . Still missing a jpeg.dll.

Any Ideas what that jpeg could be? Or why its even missing for that matter. Hey I do appreciate you putting in the time on this issue:ernae: Thanks

I installed your folders and still getting message. I dont know. I might have to go for a reinstall.:banghead: Some how missing a jpeg.dll

Thanks a lot for trying. Im not new to this stuff. I play First Eagles, Il-2, this game. And have to do this stuff w all of them. Everybody does I guess. But this one is wierd.:ernae:

quack,

jpeg.dll should be in your main CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields folder (or at least it is on my install!).....is it there?

Thks for everyones help but I just reinstalled everything. AND I still get the same message. And yes I do have a jpeg.dll in my main OFF folder.
I dont know what else to do. I even tried that download from British_eh ( thks) but when i run it it cant find the right target.

NO WAIT!!! I got it to work. Well, start anyway. I used that download from British_eh Thanks a bunch! I had to rename the path. I still dont know why i didnt work before. Anybody else have this problem?
Anyway everybody, Thanks. Very cool of you all to help me out. Cheers!

I had the same problem but it was calling for a different file. PD's 1-2-3 worked for me. Thanks!

My "missing" file problem (the file was present in the folder), was fixed in step 3 above by fixing the "start in" file path. Mine said: ". . . Over Flanders Fields\mb" I took out the "mb" at the end and it works fine now.
