mission / weather question

Pat Pattle

SOH-CM-2025
A question for you mission builder experts if I may...:)

Can you have different weather at different times? eg take off in sunshine and land an hour later in fog, or is it one weather type only for the whole mission?

Thanks.

In the old ETO, there was some weather that was a bit dynamic. Not as much as you suggested above, more like cloudy at base, then rain bursts on the way, but generally cloudy. Really depends on the weather file you're using.

I wish missions could be a bit more dynamic. Mainly because wingmen don't always do what you ask if you are stuck with one mission type. Which in a multi mission aircraft is a pain.

Weather files can have different locations of weather based upon coordinates. No ability to change via time. :(

Hi Pat There is a file on this site under scenery called "dynmissionweather" you might want to take a look at that.

the weather in O.F.F

Is an absolute blast as it will change as if rain squalls are happening all over the map. On and off depending where you fly.
