Montoya Back To IndyCar With Andretti?

Well, he is fit and down in size due to rigorous exercise on a bike, swimming, running, and working out in his own gym. I see that Fernando Alozo follows a similar regimen. JP was meant for open wheel, I just don't think stock cars suit his ilk or Latino temperament. I wish him much luck in IRL.

Cazz...
LoL but JPM has gained a bit of "girth" since joining NASCAR (too much hanging out with "Smoke"?)

Anyways, apparently Furniture Row is expressing some interest in JPM so we'll have to see how things pan out....

You do have to say JP has had some terrible luck, some brought on by himself. He's lightning fast, no doubt about that. But he has Junior Johnson's temperament. Junior was go or blow, wreck 'em if they wreck you, all out or nothing at all. JP would have driven for Junior. Junior was slick, revengeful. Oh! And he cheated a whole lot, particularly after he became a car owner. :icon_lol:

Yeah, sarcasm is the second worst thing I ever taught my two boys Panther. :icon_lol: I'm taking about that built-in gym in one of the JP ads. One main reason Michael Andretti never made it in F-1 was his bulk. It ultimately got him out of Indy Car too. All the Andrettis are bulky men save Marco, but he's still young.

Cazz,
Yep, Juan has a temper, that's for sure (seems like an A.J. Foyt type of driver though....:icon_lol:). In NASCAR, IMHO, after 2 bad calls in pit lane at Indy, I don't think he ever recovered mentally and kept over-driving....

Jamie McMurray has been hit by some bad calls too from his crew so something tells me that fault is not 100% at the Ganassi driver level.

Perhaps Theresa and Chip should turn over operations to someone with a little more talent.

i have a dumb question

does montoya have duel citizenship ? does he have a work visa for the USA?....i was watching one of the recent pre-race shows and it was at his home in Columbia.i think all of the short stories were?.at one point he said he flys home atleast once a week, for one night minimum,he said the house in Columbia was his "home" more than once..stressed that point.....dont get me wrong..im not complaining or being racist... what i want to know is...how does this work?....guys like jaun pablo,or helio castroneves, who says often his home is still in Brazil.

and there are other athletes in other sports same sort of thing...do they receive duel citizenship?..or special work visa's?.. do they (sports teams in general) receive any special treatment from TSA? i know many teams have their own aircraft,or have a dedicated charter aircraft, and use special "ramps"does TSA inspect them each flight?.....like baseball teams..moving from city to city every otherday or so...that would get monotonous and a waist of resources.

last year there was a flight set up for fire fighters to be taken out of mather on a private (chartered aircraft) to the fires in Colorado, the fire fighters were in the process of loading the plane and the gear when local cops, and TSA folks arrived with lights on,they removed everyone, and everything from the plane, made them line up and go through a TSA inspection, they had to strip down to underwear in some cases,why?..TSA were not familure with fire fighting personal equipment, and were taking it from the FFs and making them remove clothing looking for more contraband, the TSA also confiscated chainsaws and axes, pulaski's and McCloud's ,they even took the face pieces from the helmets, which are safety pieces to protect you skin from heat exposure, but the TSA claimed they were masks that could be used to conceal identity! at the time this all happened, the sac police and sheriff down played the incident,as did the TSA who claimed they were "just doing theyre jobs" which was BS..all they did was make a group of "IMMediate need" fire fighters a day late for their assignments.i know this because i know personally 5 of the fire fighters who were there...makes me angry to this day.
