Finally an Ilyushin Il-76 for FSX!!

It hasn't the quality of the Project Tupolev Tu-154B2 but this new Il-76 has virtual cockpit and navigation systems.

Finally!

Here is the translation of the brief verbiage on Avsimrus:

IL76D for FSX with VC and corrected textures (thanks to Yuri (Yuriy-raider) for his assistance), and adapted instruments by Stepan Gritsevskiy.
Installation: Place everything outside of the Gauges and Sound folders into the FSX root directory. Contents of the Gauges and Sound folders go into the corresponding folders in FSX.
 
Still needs a bit of work.

Need to remove some of the Cyrillic text out of the aircraft.cfg files, particularly the names of all the VC views. I just ran through and named them VC1, VC2, etc., and that allowed me to at least get in the plane.

From there you need to go to shift 4 and run through the joystick control settings. Shame it doesn't accept the settings entered in FSX/P3D already, kind of a hassle, but not a deal killer.

Still not quite there yet, but getting closer.

Ilyushin Il-76 MD for FSX

Hi members,

just downloaded the bird from rikooo. They seem to manage some of the bugs.
Starting was o.k., I downloaded and installed the KLN 9OB file before from Fs developer as they told on their website.

But the problems are ongoing: Nosewheel steering doesn´t work and the parking brakes seem to be set. Pushback is extremely slowly.
Info in the screen down/left show brake or differential brake alternating.
Trying to twist the joystick brings strong flutter to the rudder.

In the aircraft.cfg toe brake ist set by default.

The wonderful bird is not flyable. Do not know how to set the joystick in the plane, because the manual ist in russian.
Anyone here with newer information is welcome.

I'm flying this Il-76 like the default FSX 737. To do this, just locate in the panel.cfg file lines with STT_IL62X_1_0!logic_started_in_2D or STT_IL62X_1_0!logic_started_in_VC and remove them, or disable them with comments (//). Yeah this will break some functionalities, but basic things like brakes, doors, flaps will work as intended...

You can disable more stuff so you can use default autopilot and such... I removed 2D panel and radar. But that might be a bit too extreme for some...

Not quite an elegant aircraft, but surely an interesting one. This portover is almost a nice as a FSX native one, and the VC is quite detailled, with a navigator position below the cockpit.

Quick UAF repaint by me based on Enzo Cattania Pakistan AF Il-76 (avsim).
