Hi,
If the MS 225 had a quiet career from a military point of view as a transitional aircraft, it is quite different with its aerobatic career. In the hands of the aviator Detroyat, famous in the 1930s for his confrontations with the German pilot Fieseler, and of the "Patrouille d'Etampes", ancestor of the "Patrouille de France", it was characterized by brilliant demonstrations in European meetings.
The modifications included the removal of the armament and the lengthening of the vtail to improve handling in flight on the back.
Some screens
"Detroyat"
"Patrouille dÉtampes"
The real "Patrouille d’Étampes"
As usual you can get this supplement at "RoyaleFrenchNavy" site.
