Lovely pics, but it breaks my heart to see the Tp.52 in such a weathered state. Nice to see the Lansen radome so clearly though, Denny. If you go back I'd love to see some more of it. Any chance they ever open up exhibits?

Pictures Flygvapenmuseum

Hi

Nasca Steve !

Yes - I´m sorry to abaute the outdoor aircraft. But is a queston of fonds, it´s only 1,5 years sans the rebulding of the museum. So I hope in the furure the aircraft can have a place indoors.

Include a picture of the Tp52 with the "pointed" radomnose. The Aircraft is at Ugglarp museum. This variant is modelled include several Canberras by Flying Station´s addon for FSX

Open up exebits ? Do you mean if it is allowed to take pictures of the interior of the aircrafts?

Hi Denny,

nice pic there of the T.11 nose cone for the Tp.52. And great to see this one (presumably '01') nice and warm indoors. Hopefully they can expand the museum, get 02 indoors and give her a nice new coat of paint one day. I live here in California these days and sadly there aren't any Canberras near me that I can help restore, but I'd love to be involved with one in some way. I believe there are some B-57As somewhere in Calif. but a bit out of my driving range.

Yes, by interiors I meant can you arrange to get inside them for reference photography by special permission?

Regarding the Flying Stations Tp.52 - yes indeed this is true, as I am the one that built it! ;) It was built for FS9, but works pretty well in FSX barring some glass issues.

Tp52 Canberra

Hi Nasca Steve !

Well - I se what I can do to open the exebit. I have to speak to the person on charge at the museum, and that the weather allow.

I´m bought a couple Canberras from Flight Stations and they fly OK in FSX+acceleration. I´m have no glass issues at all, think I fix it with a DXTbmp program.

Include a screenshoot with the Tp52 on the runway at F10 Wing Aengelholm AB.

It looks like the glass is transparent against the background; this is what I have found on occasion, and also against certain sky/cloud colours. It's something I will try to fix this year when I spend more time in FSX development.

Regarding the Tp.52 exhibit, that will be fantastic if you can get inside and take some pics. Also, if you know anyone who was involved with the Tp.52 programme back in the dark days of the Cold War, I am working on a book about the international Canberra experience and would love to have some Swedish contributions.
