Nice textures Pete! I'm especially a fan of Thorold-Smith's BS231. Here's my profile on Thorold-Smith:

Please correct me if I'm wrong here...
W/Cdr Caldwell was first the CO of No 1 Fighter Wing - comprising of 54 (RAF) Squadron, 452 Squadron and 457 Squadron - flying Spit Vs in the defence of Darwin. These Spits were based around Strauss and Livingstone.
Later Caldwell became the CO of No 80 Fighter Wing - comprising of 79 Squadron, 452 Squadron and 457 Squadron - flying Spit VIIIs in the islands north of Australia.
The Guildford mentioned here is in Western Australia, the airfield is now Perth Airport. 85 Squadron was based there for much of the war.

BTW: This A/C was obviously flown by Mr. Caldwell. But when and where? In your readme, you note it was the No. 80 Wing.
In Sopwith Cameleons Readme for the same plane, he notes it was No 1 Wing.

Is this true that this was used in Guildford, Surrey, England or is there another Guildford in Australia?
