More Robust Seaplane Wake Effect? (FSX)

PutPut

Charter Member 2014
I have a few large seaplanes in my inventory and I am very dissatified with the FSX wake effects. They are very whimpy compared to what I see in real life. I have seen some rebuilt Sikorsky S series 4 engine jobs take off and land in Long Beach harbor and over at Catalina and the wakes are much more robust than the defaults. Does anyone have a line on some hefty wake effects for FSX?

Thanks in advance, Paul:salute::salute:

Hey Paul check over at SimV, FSX Misc, page 2 for FS2004/FSX McCoy Water Landing Effect v2.0 final by Vince McCoy. Just seen this today but haven't tried it out.

I don't have a screen, but I have a good effect with a combination of the OzX goose effects and the old Alpha sim Harrier effect- it comes with the freeware A-90 Ekranoplan, with the position set back to around the step/quarter chord position. Gives a nice big swirling cloud of spray either side of the 'boat
