• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

More Typhoons

I' m a little out of topic BUT... what a pity that Razbam abandoned
the Tempest...:toilet_claw:

the ones above are now all available on OZx, and I continue..
At first I thought that they would all be more or less the same, RAF camouflage with big letters, but it turns out there are some subtle varieties, apart from the girls name in the previous batch:

Group Captains Baldwin's aircraft, no big serial, gives it a sleek appearance I think, and since he was the leading ace on the Typhoon, those swastika's give a menacing look:

Then there is this registration, which in Dutch sounds very cheerful":

and then there is the overenthousiastic groundcrew during the night before D-Day, that had to put the registration on the tail:

so if you want more Typhoons, they'll be available soon

Jankees - really appreciate your salvo of repaints.

Now checking out the locations to fly them from.

I'm glad you like them!
I upload the second batch as well if you need more...

Nice pic, btw, thank you for posting.

This one (MN686) seems not very much weathered, almost brand new... Grey and green are quite clean and very different as respect with more worn birds :

The photograph of MN686 was taken very late in 1944, probably on a delivery flight before going on ops or delivery to an OTU.:engel016:
