Mosquito B IV Series II, serial DK336, code GB-P uploaded

BeauBrummie

Home for tea and tiffin!
CFS3 models of Mosquito bombers mostly focus on their night ops. So when I came across this daytime skin by Zeilbeer I was please as it'd fit in with some missions I had in mind. I made a stand alone of it and have made sure it's load outs are ETO friendly. It had been on the AvHistory production line for a v4.0 flight model as they did for Grim Reaper, but there you go C'est la Guerre. It's been sitting on my hard drive for a while so I thought I'd release it.

On 6 December 1942, DK336 was one of eight 105 and two 139 Sqn. Mosquitos which took part in Operation later, a daring low level raid on the Philips radio and valve works at Eindhoven. It crashed near Shipham returning from Cologne on 27 January 1943

No guns old bean. The Mossie bombers relied on speed. All through the war the Mossie Bombers and the PRU variants could hold their own in the spead stakes with most German fighters (especially at sea-level). The PRU's were the fastest Mossies as they didn't have to carry the armour, and bombs their bomber brothers did. The fighters versions were the slowest due to the ammo, armour etc they toted around. It's quite a ride just using speed and manouverability to duck those 190's!:running:
